Eswatini authorities should ensure that security forces deployed in the wake of protests respect citizens’ rights and observe international standards of law enforcement.

Germany has delayed putting into action its plans to address increasing heat waves linked to climate change, threatening public health. Current plans largely leave out the danger from extreme heat to people who are pregnant.

The United States government announced it will institute a third gender category on passports, allowing citizens to choose to be designated other than male or female.

The Philippine government should immediately drop its plan to organize new militias that would worsen the country’s disastrous human rights situation.

Kenyan authorities should investigate the alleged abduction and eventual deportation of Selahaddin Gülen to Turkey despite a Kenyan court order prohibiting his deportation

Finally, Turkey officially withdraws from the Istanbul Convention, the Council of Europe's Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence. Turkish authorities frequently fail to protect women from abuse and femicide rates remain persistently high.
