Egyptian authorities have arrested nearly 2,000 people in a sweeping nationwide crackdown following anti-government protests that erupted on September 20.

The United Nations Human Rights Council has voted in favour of continuing and strengthening the investigation and reporting on war crimes in Yemen

Lebanese authorities have largely failed to comply with the country’s Right to Access to Information Law, and the government has not established the body designated to oversee its implementation nearly three years after its passage.

Foreign ministers from France, Germany, and dozens of other countries have endorsed a declaration at the United Nations addressing lethal autonomous weapons systems. Almost 17 years after the end of the war in Angola, landmines and explosive remnants of war continue to kill and maim, and children are the main victims. UK's Prince Harry is currently in Angola to meet President Joao Lourenço: an opportunity to encourage the Angolan leader to prioritize landmine clearance and assistance to victims.

And the #ClimateStrike protests continue today, with marches all around the word.
