Ananda, 48, rescued his daughter Ripa, 18, after she fell into the water during floods and nearly drowned. Ripa has a disability and needs support to walk, talk, and eat. During the flooding in Sunamganj, Bangladesh in June 2022, Ripa was stuck in the house for several days without food.
