During the flooding in Sylhet, Bangladesh in May and June 2022, Mohammadi, 75, said he felt like a burden to his family as he could not access medicine, food, or the toilet without his son’s help. Mohammadi had to move to a shelter, assisted by his son, as the water rose to 5 feet.
