Imagery from November 13 and 14, 2020, shows the petrol station on the southern end of Rawyan. Over the two days, many vehicles – circled in orange – are visible in the area. In the time between the capture of each image, debris surrounding the structure west of the petrol station, visibly increases. Imagery from February 12, 2021, shows this intersection becomes a strategic location with multiple military vehicles and a probable checkpoint as described by interviewees. Many buses and trucks are also stopped on the road coinciding with the time frame of reported deportations forcible displacement from the area.
