Close-up 2. Satellite imagery recorded on October 8 and 23, 2020 shows new tactical deployments on cultivated fields adjacent to residential areas of Tartar city, Shalabad and Duyarli. An Azeri BM-21 (“Grad”) rocket launcher is visible as of October 8, likely targeting Armenian positions located south west of Tartar. Another image collected on October 8 shows a smoke cloud from the position, indicating firing by the rocket launcher. On October 23, three additional rocket launchers are visible.
