Nduta camp in Tanzania currently houses 70,109 Burundian refugees and asylum seekers. About 154,000 Burundians live in three camps – Nduta, Nyarugusu, and Mtendeli – in Tanzania’s northwestern Kigoma region, where some have faced arbitrary arrests, enforced disappearances, and torture.
