Sinh, 23

In 10th grade, Sinh developed a crush on another boy. He was confused and thought there must be something wrong with him. When his mother found out, she was extremely upset. She cried and took him to a psychologist. His mother told him he had “an illness, a disease.” Sinh told her he was bisexual, and she asked him why he was not normal. At school, Sinh’s biology teacher taught the class that love can only happen between men and women, and that only men and women can create good families because they can reproduce.
