Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) authorities asserted that the killing of Arkan Sharifi as hostilities broke out with Iraqi government forces in Iraq’s so-called “disputed territories,” was committed by members of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF).
