Human Rights Watch mapped the main villages where Hoyyar Siri residents relocated after they fled the May 2, 2024 massacre. While some residents managed to reach Bangladesh and Malaysia around a year later, others remain displaced, most of them in Nassawr Para, an Arakan Army-controlled camp. Two years on, Hoyyar Siri remains uninhabited. Village data © Myanmar Information Management UNIT (MIMU). Military camp locations © Open StreetMap contributors.
