Human Rights Watch documented and mapped the main routes taken by Hoyyar Siri villagers and other residents fleeing from the Bor Para and Fatailla Para hamlets following the capture of 15th Military Operations Command (MOC-15) by Arakan Army. While some residents moved north in an attempt to reach Buthidaung town, others headed toward the U Hla Hpay area, where groups were reportedly intercepted by the Arakan Army.
