At least nine bridges along the Litani River and its tributary, in addition to a section of the main road leading to Al-Khardali bridge, were struck by the Israeli military between March 12 to April 8, disrupting key transport routes. As of April 9, the Qasmieh Bridge, which remains operable despite being struck on April 8, is the only lifeline connecting southern Lebanon with the rest of the country.
