Evolution of the “Black Mountain” area near the EPL entrance between April 27, 2023 and December 4, 2024. Satellite imagery from April 2023 shows large tailings dump near the EPL entrance. Five months later, in September 2023, an excavator and several dump trucks are visible in the area. By June 2024, there had been a clear reduction of the tailing dumps.
