The main evacuation route designated by the Israeli military as a "safe passage” for people fleeing from the north to the south of the Gaza Strip from October 13, 2023 until it was closed to civilians on January 4, 2024 and the Al Rashid coastal road was designated as a "safe passage” route instead.
