Hundreds gathered in Amuda for the funeral of Ronahi Ibrahim, known by her nom de guerre Beritan Navdar, who joined the Revolutionary Youth group in 2021 at age 14 and was killed in January 2024 at age 17 while serving as a fighter with the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ).
