Jacob, a Gerstein crisis worker. Gerstein’s Mobile Crisis Intervention Team wears regular clothes rather than uniforms or logoed apparel and uses vehicles with few if any markings. This helps to minimize the power differences that a uniform may promote and to respect the dignity and privacy of the person in the community.
