Fatema , 40, holds a portrait of her deceased daughter, Shamsun Nahar, in Jamalganj, Sunamganj. Shamsun, who had cerebral palsy, died when she was 12-years-old, on the fourth day of flooding after becoming sick and developing a fever. Fatema said they could not even consider fleeing to a shelter because Shamsun was unable to walk and no help was available.
