What is the procedure for revoking Pinochet's immunity?
Judge Guzman must request the Santiago Appeals Court to lift his parliamentary immunity. If the Appeals Court assents, Pinochet may appeal to the Supreme Court, which has the final say. If the Supreme Court declines to revoke his immunity, the indictment cannot proceed.
