This came despite \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.radiofarda.com\/a\/iran-nargesmohammadi\/31797302.html\u0022\u003EMohammadi\u2019s announcement\u003C\/a\u003E that she would comply with the summons to serve her latest sentence after being on a temporary release on medical grounds. According to Radio Farda, authorities \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.rferl.org\/a\/iran-mohammedi-motalebzadeh-prison\/31800225.html\u0022\u003Ealso arrested \u003C\/a\u003Ephotographer and women\u2019s rights defender, Alieh Motalebzadeh, who was at Mohammadi\u2019s house at the time.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EIn January 2022, branch 26 of Tehran\u2019s Revolutionary Court \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.hrw.org\/news\/2022\/01\/28\/iran-new-prison-sentence-rights-defender\u0022\u003Ehad sentenced Mohammadi\u003C\/a\u003E to six years in prison for \u201cassembly and collusion to act against national security,\u201d and to two years in prison and 74 lashes for \u201cacting against national security and disrupting public order.\u201d Security officers arrested Mohammadi in November 2021 while she attended a memorial service for a victim of the \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.hrw.org\/news\/2019\/11\/19\/iran-security-forces-violently-crack-down-protesters\u0022\u003ENovember 2019 protests\u003C\/a\u003E that errupted after the abrupt rise in fuel prices. She had previously spent more than five years in prison on charges of \u201cpropaganda against the state,\u201d \u201cassembly and collusion to act against national security,\u201d and for \u201cestablishing an illegal group,\u201d before being released in October 2020.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EMohammadi\u2019s forced return to prison raises serious concerns about her health.
