There are concerns, however, whether these commitments will be respected. Some Congolese officials are muddying the waters by claiming \u201cvictory\u201d at the council; the Congolese government has until now opposed any international investigation into the Kasais, and some are now \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/twitter.com\/LFUTCFM\/status\/878227661436444672\u0022\u003Ewrongly saying\u003C\/a\u003E there will be no independent investigation, just technical support to the Congolese judicial investigation.
