Kazakhstan: Reject ‘LGBT Propaganda’ Legal Proposals
Lawmakers in Kazakhstan should reject a draft law with amendments that would ban “propaganda of non-traditional sexual orientation,” six international human rights groups said today. The groups are Civil Rights Defenders (CRD), Eurasian Coalition on Health, Rights, Gender and Sexual Diversity (ECOM), Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights (HFHR), Human Rights Watch (HRW), International Partnership for Human Rights (IPHR), and Norwegian Helsinki Committee (NHC).
