CEJIL is a non-profit, nongovernmental organization with consultative status before the U.N. ECOSOC Committee and the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights. CEJIL offers an integrated program of defense, free legal advice, and monitoring of the inter-American human rights system. CEJIL's principle objective is to achieve full implementation of international human rights norms in the domestic law of every OAS member State. CEJIL currently has offices in Washington, DC and in San José, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Asunción, and Santiago. Viviana Krsticevic and Ariel Dultizky are co-executive directors. Ligia Bolívar is the president of the board of directors.
