Do you know someone or an organization that deserves to be recognized for their work protecting and defending the human rights of those living with or affected by HIV?
The Awards for Action on HIV/AIDS and Human Rights were established in 2002 by the Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network and Human Rights Watch.
The Awards highlight outstanding contributions that decrease vulnerability to HIV/AIDS and protect the rights and dignity of those infected and affected.
An award is presented annually to one Canadian and one international recipient.
The awards will be presented at an event in Toronto to commemorate World AIDS Day 2013 (we will be sending out a save-the-date soon). The nomination period closes on Friday, August 2, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. ET.

Vous connaissez un individu ou un organisme qui mérite d'être reconnu pour son travail de protection et de défense des droits des personnes vivant avec le VIH ou affectées par celui-ci?
Les Prix de l'Action contre le VIH/sida et pour les droits humains ont étés initiés en 2002 par le Réseau juridique canadien VIH/sida et Human Rights Watch.
Les Prix ont pour but de mettre en relief des contributions exceptionnelles qui réduisent la vulnérabilité au VIH/sida et qui protègent les droits et la dignité des personnes séropositives et autrement affectées par le VIH/sida.
Un prix canadien et un prix international seront présentés annuellement à un récipiendaire canadien et un récipiendaire international.
Les prix seront décernés lors d'un événement pour souligner la Journée mondiale du sida de 2013, à Toronto (une annonce de date sera disséminée sous peu).La période de mise en candidature se termine le vendredi 2 août 2013, à 17 h 00 (heure de l'Est).
