As the festival has a limited staff and budget and reviews hundreds of films each year, we have been forced to institute a strict policy on submissions. Our policy is for interested filmmakers to email a brief synopsis of their film/video as well as a brief filmmaker bio. Please send to submissions@hrw.org

All emailed submissions will be reviewed by the festival committee. The committee will contact you if they are interested in screening a VHS copy of your film/video. Any unsolicited tapes will not be considered for the festival. Submissions are only accepted for our New York festival. The submission deadline is January 10, 2004. Neither our London festival nor our Traveling festival are open to submissions.

The festival does not charge any fees for submissions. If your film/video is considered for the festival be advised we do not return VHS tapes. The festival does not send out rejection letters. We will contact those filmmakers whose films/videos are accepted to participate in the festival.

London - March 18-25, 2004
New York - June 11-24, 2004
