PEACE OF MIND was conceived by Susan Siegel, Founder and
Co-Executive Director of Global Action Project while she was Director of
Coexistence at Seeds of Peace. While there were powerful workings of
coexistence happening at the camp, Siegel wanted to see what would
happen when the campers left their idyllic surroundings and returned to
the Middle East.
PEACE OF MIND is the fifth international youth video project produced by
Global Action Project, a highly acclaimed youth media organization that
uses video as a tool for dialogue and action regarding social issues around
the world. Through facilitated workshops and collaborative documentary
projects, G.A.P. encourages young people to become leaders, activists
and peer educators in their communities. G.A.P. has produced over thirty
videos, providing a vital forum for youth to express their views on some of
today's most pressing global issues.
