Nagorny-Karabakh Child Soldier Global Report 2001 From the Coalition to Stop the Use of Child Soldiers Although military training and registration for military service under 18 are areas of concern, there are no reports of government recruiting under-18s. June 12, 2001 Multi Country Report Nagorny-Karabakh: Landmine Monitor Report 2000 Key developments since March 1999: In March 2000, the Nagorny-Karabakh Minister of Agriculture said that thirty percent of the territory's most productive agricultural lands are not being used because of the danger of mines. HALO Trust, which had carried out mine clearance in Nagorny- Karabakh in 1995-96, resumed operations in January 2000. August 1, 2000 Multi Country Report Response to Armenian Government Letter on the town of Khojaly, Nagorno-Karabakh As Executive Director of Human Rights Watch/Helsinki (formerly Helsinki Watch), I wish to respond to the March 3 Ministry of Foreign Affairs statement regarding the 1992 slaughter of Azeri civilians in the town of Khojaly in Nagorno Karabakh. In it, the Ministry argues that the Popular Front of Azerbaijan was responsible for the civilian deaths, supporting this argument by referring to an interview with former President Ayaz Mutalibov and, incredibly, to a 1992 report by our organization.
