Jacques Manardo retired from Deloitte in 2001 where he was the founding partner of the French practice, the CEO for Europe (covering 35 countries) and global managing partner to 300 leading clients. He was very active in establishing Deloitte’s presence in Eastern Europe from 1989 to 1995.
From 1993 to 2000 he chaired the European then the worldwide Steering Committee of the “Big 5” firms, dealing with regulatory issues (with the US SEC, Securities and Exchange Commission), the European Commission and the Japan Ministry Of Finance).
In 2001 he became a business angel, focusing on services to individuals. In 2006, he founded a Federation within the French Employers Association (MEDEF), to support growth of this industry.
He is a trustee of the French Institute-Alliance Française in New York City.
Very active in Davos, he led several surveys and workshops on the stakes of globalization (aim, creation of value, limits, cost structures, diversification, resolution of conflicts or interest…), in conjunction with the World Economic Forum and companies such as Sony, Microsoft, Dow, Hewlett Packard, Suez, Renault…
