Christopher J. Mesnooh is an American attorney, partner at the law firm Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP. He has been a resident in Paris since 1989, where he practices French and international law on behalf of businesses and individuals doing business with France. He is also the author of a book on French law « Law and business in France » (Martinus Nijhoff Publishers, 1994) and of numerous articles in both English and French, and regularly appears on French television to analyze business, legal and political topics. He is an active member of the Yale Law School Executive Committee, the Dean's Advisory Board of the Columbia School of International and Public Affairs, and the European-American Chamber of Commerce in Paris. He holds his JD from Yale Law School and his BA from Columbia College.
