(Nueva York) - El Congreso mexicano debería modificar sustancialmente la propuesta presentada por el Presidente Felipe Calderón para reformar el Código de Justicia Militar, afirmó hoy Human Rights Watch. La reforma propuesta no pondría fin a la impunidad actual de los abusos militares contra civiles.
(New York) - Mexico's congress should substantially modify President Felipe Calderón's proposed revisions to the Code of Military Justice, Human Rights Watch said today. The proposed reform would not solve the current lack of accountability for abuses of civilians by members of the military.
(Milan) - The Libyan government should immediately end what appears to be a policy that allows shooting at boats carrying migrants from Libya to Italy, and Italy should stop participating in joint patrols with Libya, Human Rights Watch said today.
