We are writing to you to express our deep concern regarding the violent clashes
that occurred in the settlement of Nardaran, on the Absheron Peninsula, between a
combined force of Ministry of Internal Affairs troops and police, and residents of the
settlement during the evening and early morning of June 3-4.
