Resources for Human Rights Education
Human Rights Watch offers a list of films for educational purposes through both our Traveling Festival and our High School Human Rights Program.
All details about the Traveling Festival, including the list of film titles and support materials, can be found on the Traveling section of our film festival site at www.hrw.org/iff/2003/traveling/about.html. Additional information about the High School Human Rights Program can be found on the Classroom section of our film festival site at www.hrw.org/iff/2003/classrom/index.html.
In addition to the films that Human Rights Watch offers, there are several resources available for teaching about human rights in general and teaching about specific issues such as refugees' rights, children's rights, and more. If you are interested in learning more about these materials or would like assistance in planning an educational program on human rights, please feel free to contact Andrea Holley at holleya@hrw.org and/or check out some of the websites below.
