A letter by the student addressed to the Iranian parliament and Article 90 Commission. The student activist recounts his involvement in student groups in the University of Hamedan, and his detention following the 1999 student uprising. He states that plainclothes security forces used a search for narcotics as a pretext to enter his home and to search and confiscate his personal belongings. The student reveals that he has been continuously interrogated and kept in solitary confinement. He contests the charges against him and writes that even upon being released, he has been unable to live as an ordinary citizen and continues to be harassed and intimidated by the authorities. In addition, he has been prevented from leaving the country.
