Child Soldiers Ratification Campaign

Thailand

Thailand maintains a "straight-18" position, although has known the child soldiers problem on its borders with Myanmar and Cambodia. The Thai Government (under former Foreign Minister Surin) repeatedly indicated it would sign the Optional Protocol, but has not done so to date.
