18-year-old Floribert Tetyabo-Tebabo has barely spoken since militiamen decapitated his mother, three brothers and two sisters in a massacre south of Nyakunde. His father had previously died of malaria. Friends in the center for displaced people at Eringeti have carved him a wooden seat on which he silently sits for much of every day. Says his cousin, Roger Muzikalic: "He is in depression whenever he is alone and thinks of his family."
