Hassan Elmasry is managing partner and lead portfolio manager at Independent Franchise Partners, LLP.  He has 27 years of experience managing equity portfolios for institutional clients.  Prior to co-founding Independent Franchise Partners, LLP, Mr. Elmasry was a managing director at Morgan Stanley Investment Management.  Hassan holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics and an MBA in finance, both from the University of Chicago.  He is a member of the CFA Institute.  Mr. Elmasry is a former member of Human Rights Watch’s London Committee, is co-chair of the organization’s Middle East/North Africa Advisory Committee, chairs the Board Budget Committee, and serves on the Board Investment Committees.
