Global Advocate, Women's Rights Division

Gauri van Gulik is the global advocate in the women’s rights division. Her work focuses on violence against women, child marriage and reproductive health. She formerly worked for Marie Stopes International, where she was the European Advocacy Officer, the International Rehabilitation Council for Torture Victims, and the Civil Liberties Committee in the European Parliament.

Van Gulik holds a BA and MA in European and Comparative Law and an MA in human rights from the European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratisation in Venice, and speaks Dutch and English, as well as some French and German.
