Agnes Odhiambo is the Africa researcher for the Women’s Rights Division at Human Rights Watch. Prior to joining Human Rights Watch in 2009, she worked as the Southern Africa HIV program manager for the South African non-governmental organization Gender Links, and was a deputy director at African Woman and Child Feature Services in Kenya. Odhiambo holds a PhD from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg and has expertise in the areas of HIV/AIDS, reproductive and maternal health, and fistula.
